Many thanks and praise to God for an incredibly successful 35 years of ministry. In 2008 we saw 129 first time commitments to Jesus Christ and 786 rededicated lives to Jesus Christ! In 2008 a camp record of 3,213 campers attended camp in just 12 weeks. 189 houseboats left the docks filled with campers and 17,010 ski runs were pulled in 12 weeks! In 2009 180 Houseboats left the docks filled with campers. We saw 210 campers give their life to Jesus Christ for the first time and 861 campers rededicate their life to Christ. We are also very thankful for the friends and supporters who the Lord has used to provide the houseboats, ski boats, gas, equipment, and food needed to make the camp come to life week in and week out.
From 1991-2008 a local boat dealership had provided the camp with 10 brand new ski boats every summer. At the end of our summer season the dealer would buy the boats back from us at a contracted amount plus damages only costing us approximately $3,830.00 per boat. This unique business relationship has been the cornerstone of our unbeatable low camper price of $320.00. This transaction worked more like a lease and benefited the camp in numerous ways. Due to the current climate of the economy this local boat dealer was no longer able to provide us this unique deal at the end of our 2008 season. After exhausting every possibility we turned to private party sales and purchased 11 ski boats in 3 months (Jan-Mar 2009). Our “Send a boat to camp” campaign was launched. The next few months leading up to summer 2009 were faith filled trusting God to bring about financial partners who understood the importance of ski boats to our ministry. The campaign raised $54,820. PRAISE GOD!

= *$3,830.00* These were always brand new boats with zero hours and a maintenance warranty that would cover all costs through our summer season. Routine maintenance (oil, impeller, plugs, cap, rotor, oil filter, fuel filter, and trans fluid) every 50-75 hours takes most families 2-3 years to put on their boat. It takes us 2-3 weeks. So three times a summer we have the boats serviced. One service of the above mentioned is $700.00. Four times is $2,100.00 a boat! Ouch!
